My Brother is working in Ohio and has noticed while driving through stars on the barns. Whay is that?
He also has noticed that different barns have a different number of stars. Is there a story or history to the barns and stars?
The previous answer is correct. They were originally an old German custom to ward off witches and demons.
Nowadays, they are used primaily just as quaint decorations.
