Indian saris are available in a wide range of colours using different fabrics like cotton, silk, georgette, chiffon and many more.
Some common brands are Banarasi silk, Kanjivaram silk, Tepata silk, khadi silk and many more. Some handwork saris are also common like Lucknavi Karai sari, chikan work sari and sequence work sari. Among the traditional saris Bandhini sari of Rajasthan and the Chanderi sari of Madhya Pradesh are landmarks in the history of Indian sari. The cool and crisp Kota saris of Rajasthan, Venkatagiri and Poona sari, Pochampali sari and Maheshwari saris are also very fascinating.
Indian saris have always been the best choice not only in India but also in abroad. We can see that foreigners show genuine interest in Indian outfits especially saris. As they are ignorant about how to drape it, they prefer buying automatic Indian saris in which the plates are already made and the pallu is stitched. All one has to do is to fit into this automatic Indian sari. It has helped women from all walks of life to fulfill their passion of wearing a sari even if they do not know how to wear it.
It is said that an Indian woman looks most graceful in an Indian sari. It is not merely an outfit but an ornament lending both grace and glamour to the wearer.
